African Frames
Mijikenda specializes in the design and hand-made fabrication of unusual distinctive African frames and mirrors, from extraordinary materials to its clients’ individual and exacting requirements.
In consultation with Nicole, clients are able to choose from multiple rare timber varieties to effect and influence their final required design. Finishes can range from Stucco filling, intricate carving, liming, antique ‘cracked’ paint effect, bleaching, gold and bronze powders, beaded or semi-precious stone & brass inlays. Professionally hand cut and colored photo mounts, can be added to enhance the final image and design.
